ABC’s Of Leadership – G Is For Grit
An experienced leader has to show that she or he can endure other people and tackle tough issues. Within our fast-moving world, this is simply not an easy task to complete, but it is required for a business to survive. Additionally, it is important because if staff members do not have confidence in their leader, the business will lack cohesiveness plus the staff will lose their overall feeling of purpose.
Several articles declare that grit may be learned but it appears that the authors feel this happens at a young age. This is not true because we now have seen present incidents such as the Boston Marathon where people overcame their handicaps and therefore are nevertheless having lives that are successful. Nonetheless, we realize other cases where people “gave up” and sunk into depression, etc. Why does this happen?
